it is done
Preaching is effective as long as the preacher expects something to happen-not because of the sermon, not even because of the preacher, but because of God.
John E. Hines
It is done. I have preached the sermon...to the enjoyment of some and the consternation of others. I pulled from Jewish and Islamic sources. It was, all in all, a great deal of fun. For what it's worth, I don't preach thinking that everyone will agree with me. Nope. But a rousing conversation afterward is a good thing. I'll also admit that I
wish from time to time that everyone would agree with me, but that would get dull very quickly.
