That was fun; definitely no straight man in this one!
Posted by: Mom at January 28, 2008 01:11 PMYes, Mancrush! I can hardly wait for that....Oh, and George, what a lovely beard!
Posted by: IdaSusan - Dave'sMom at January 28, 2008 02:23 PMThere's something about full beards that goes well with pipe tobacco... :-)
I have a fabulous vegetarian dip recipe. Email me if you want it for your Superbowl party.
Posted by: Megan at January 28, 2008 02:30 PMtripp talking about children is slightly scary and encouraging at the same time.
hurrah for impractical educations.
the guy who founded my school said something about not caring what we did with the money, as long "as we're having a good time"
Thanks for the beard-praise. You should see it on Holy Saturday when I shave it off. It gets huge!
Posted by: Jorge Sanchez at January 28, 2008 07:43 PMTripp, I LOVE your videoblogs. Keep 'em coming.
As you hone your prowess as a cinematographer, remember to try and keep the subject matter centered -- meaning you and Jorge. This one had a bit too much wall and ceiling fixture. Your manly chests may have been more interesting to look at than a blank wall. If you, however, feel that the blank wall is more interesting, than I applaud your avant-garde choice.
(I apologize for my critique. I'm too much a designer. And a nerd. But no surprise there.)
The blank wall was a choice. Yes, it's true. I wanted to demonstrate the futility of all human kind in finding meaning. The white wall is akin to Melville's white whale in Moby Dick. Jorge kinda looks like Ahab. Heh.
Posted by: Tripp at January 29, 2008 11:33 AMTrue dat.
Posted by: Amy Dale at January 29, 2008 11:54 AMI myself found the composition agreeable. It left room to see halos. ;-)
Posted by: Larry at January 29, 2008 02:11 PMJorge, I apologize for the wrong spelling of your name. I realize that living in Illinois would tend to make one pronounce it that way, but I see by reading your profile that you are Cuban American. Living in California and also being a singer, I am prone to want to pronounce names the way they are spelled. I have several folks in my circle of friends and acquaintances who are from Mexico and I love to say their names "correctly." Most of them seem to appreciate it. Anyway, so Tripp will have to do a videoblog the Monday before Easter so I can see the full glory. ;-)

Pure genius. I love it. Adopt me.
