in closing...

I am getting ready to go, but I could not help but enjoy this little bit of selfishness...


1. When is your birthday? Does anyone else (famous and/or in your own life) share it?

My Birthday is January 27th. Mozart and I have the same birthday!

2. Do you prefer a big party or an intimate celebration for the chosen few?
I prefer flying to another country to be all alone. Well, almost. Intimacy is nice.

3. Describe your most memorable birthday(s)--good, bad, or both.
I fled to San Francisco for my 30th Birthday. That was pretty cool. Otherwise there's no single story that comes to mind. I like spending time with my wife on my birthdays.

4. What is your favorite cake and ice cream? (Bonus points if you share the cake recipe). Or would you rather have a different treat altogether?
I love coconut cake...My mother has a three-day cake recipe that my wife duplicated. I'll share that recipe when I can. Mmm.
5. Surprise parties: love 'em or hate 'em?
Oh, please don't.
Bonus: Describe your ideal birthday--the sky's the limit.
I would go on a musical tour of the world. Yeah, the BirthDAY may have to take a year, but that's okay with me.
I'll see you all at the protest. If I get arrested, I'll be sure to blog about it.

Mozart--cool. I think it's the feast of Thomas Aquinas too at least in the Roman calendar.

Good luck at the protest. Going to one myself tomorrow (with School of the Americas Watch) but I don't think anyone is planning cd.
