And the Muppet Christmas Carol...that makes me happy.
Grew up with Scrooge the Musical version (circa 1974??) so that is the one that feels most at home for me...a sad, bitter little Scrooge instead of Scott's stately miser, but wonderful...and a few fun songs, too.
(I agree, Patrick Stewart just doesn't pull it off.)
I am a Christmas Carol snob...so much so that my daughter could recite the first 3 sentences of Christmas Carol (the actual book...) when she was 2...and I approve of your selection.
"Marley was dead, to begin with..." ...gets my attention every time.
Love the hair. Extended video was a nice treat too.
