What a night. I dropped Trish off at the airport yesterday around 5:00pm and spent the rest of the time waiting at the house in case they canceled her flight...which they did. At 1:00am. So, at 1:00am I got in the car and picked up my lovely wife from the airport. She is scheduled to try again today at about 2:30-ish. But the weather gurus are saying that today will also be a horrible day for travel. Anything east of us will be struggling to get off the ground. And with 50-mph wind gusts here, airplanes will be grounded.

Well, it looks like my wife and I will see more of each other for the holiday than I thought. That's a great thing and a horrible thing. Trish's bags are still at the airport. If this second flight is canceled, we'll ask for the bags back. There are Christmas gifts in them.

What a mess. The snow is just starting to fall a little. They don't think we'll get much at all. But it does make for miserable travel.
