This is something special. All of these people are calling the current administration to step up and put an end to genocide in Darfur. I'll be interested to see what if anything comes of this.

I work just down the road from Eastern University.

Well meant but search my blog (for 'Darfur') and you'll find some libertarian articles explaining why the interventionism of the commonly understood left is as wrong as that of the neocons (invading Iraq).

One antiwar.com writer explains that if Bush's minders have foresight, they'll intervene in Darfur to drive a wedge into the anti-war movement.

Not exactly what you and I want.

Those pesky unintended consequences. Fallen human nature and all that.
