benedictine mean time...

I am back. The monastery was wonderful. I'll write about it tomorrow sometime. Now I need to unpack and check all those e-mails. I am sure that the Vioxx people have missed me.

One of my fav shows is Rockstar: Supernova.

My fav singer on it is Patrice Pike from Austin, Texas.

Trish reminds me of her - if Trish were
a rockstar.

Hope you are spiritually refreshed after your
monastic visit.

From what little I've seen 'Rockstar: Supernova' is one of the few game/talent shows that doesn't suck. (Hasn't got the schadenfreude aspect of 'Idol'.) There are some lovely and musically talented people on it - I dare say if Trish is like that she and you are very lucky and happy indeed.

St Gregory's would have been up my street about 50 years ago. Used to know an ex-brother from there (he was with them for a few years) who then tried his vocation with the RC Mercedarians but that didn't work for some reason and we lost contact. Also a friend in England (now a vicar) was a novice in the last years of Nashdom Abbey, which founded St G's.

Looking forward to reading more about your retreat! I've made one staying with different Benedictines.

Trish reminds me more of Dilana. Either way, I am pleased with the comparison.

I bet we missed you more than the Vioxx vendors did!

One hopes! Though I think they e-mail more frequently. Please do not attempt to duplicate their feats of digital meyhem.
