YES, it was a beer-lifting, rollicking good time. Irish music is *especially* good to see with friends/sweeties because you can actually hear each other, even when the band is playing. Plus, the shared experience of swaying in time and singing lustily along to "A quart of Johnny-Jump-Up" is a bond like few others!!
Thanks, Tripp. Plus now Katya knows that there IS live Irish music in Chicago, a fact of which she had apparently despaired before last Sunday.
