If you look closely at theis photo, you will discover that a wedding ring resides on one of the petals. It is a great picture.

I have decided to take a cue from Cliff and post a wee series of thoughts on Christmas. You see, I am not a great fan of Christmas. This has nothing to do with some traumatic thing that happened...

...unless you think of becomming Christian as traumatic. Huh. Interesting. I had not thought of it that way.

Well, whatever the cause, it is the case that Christmas is hard for me. I experience a huge disconnect between reality and my faith life (as if they were different things). There are symbols at work in this time that contradict one another and I am finding that contradiction alive and kicking inside of me.

That's just a thought. I will post some more "serious" reflections this week.

I have posted more wedding images in the gallery. I seem to have used up my Flickr space for the month. I am not a "pro" like some people.
