Here is Clinton's speech. I do not like some of his politics or personal habits, but damn can he work a crowd. Ya have to give it to him.

But would Socrates dismiss him as a mere sophist: great with rhetoric but empty of substance?

(Then again, what politician wouldn't Socrates say that about?)

Heh. Socrates (pronounced So-Krates) would be skeptical across the board. There was actual substance to his speech...even an attempt to show how Repblicans and Democrats are not actually the same party...in substantive ways! Who knew? That was surprising given the tenor of recent elections of appealing to the middle.
