So, do you think that this will make a difference in a positive way or cause an even greater split in the Democratic party? I bet Leiberman is less than thrilled, no? There will have to be some reconciliation made between those two camps before any real good can come from this endorsement. Now, back to are regularly scheduled mayhem: Bonhoeffer!
Posted by tripp at December 9, 2003 12:53 PMi think the endorsement is too early. everyone is lining up behind dean, soon he will be the inevitable nominee and still not a single person has voted in a primary and it will be months before most democrats get the chance.
i guess my real gripe is with the primary system, not gore. but he should have waited.
Posted by: upyernoz at December 9, 2003 07:33 PMCan you say, "Gore gets his revenge?" Not on Lieberman, but on the Clintons. Notice he didn't endorse the Clinton nominee, General I-Can-Bifurcate-My-Position-in-Six-Seconds Clark.
Frankly, I'm thankful for once that someone with as strong a position as Dean is running. At last we won't have to vote for Tweedle-Dum and Tweedle-Dee. We still may not like the choices, but viva la contrast!
